01

The brief

A restaurant with a bakery, a catering arm and a full seasonal calendar needs more than one kind of picture. The job was to keep all of it recognisably Madison & Heig: marble, daylight, generous plates and nothing styled beyond what the kitchen actually sends out.

02

The menu, dish by dish

The November session covered the menu as a catalogue. Every dish was shot on the same marble against white brick, overhead and at three quarters, so a new item can join the set at any time and still belong.

A roast squash and feta salad, overhead.

03

Brunch and the bakery

January went to the mornings. Eggs, pastry and skillets were shot wide on the marble so the frames work as banners as well as posts.

04

At the table

Hands come into the frame where they help. A latte lifted, a flatbread set down, pasta pulled from the dish: small actions that make a plate feel like a meal.

05

Ramadan

For Ramadan the brand moved into gift boxes and iftar spreads. The packaging was designed and then photographed in use, with lanterns, a dallah and coffee poured at the table.

06

The Ramadan cake

One product got a session of its own. The torched meringue cake was followed from the piping bag to the finished pan, then retouched as the hero of the season.

07

Catering

The June session documented the catering setup outdoors: trestle tables, greenery, pastry stands and the branded crates that hold the chafing dishes. It gives the catering side its own sales material.

08

The place and the anniversary

The building, the monogram and the eight year campaign close the set. The voucher was drawn like a banknote, with the Kuwait skyline and a large figure eight.
