Select

Shooting the menu and building the content set for Select.

Select is brought to life through a connected mix of art direction, content, design, and production.

What we did

  • Photo & video
  • Graphic design
  • Motion graphics

01

The brief

Select needed images that carry the menu across social, delivery and in store. We agreed the shot list before the shoot, so nothing important was left to the end of the day.

Select food shot on the studio set.

02

What we made

We ran photo & video, graphic design and motion graphics as one job, which keeps the look consistent and the budget sensible. Every dish was covered close and wide, which means one production can feed a menu, a listing and a month of posts.

A detail frame from the Select shoot.
Select styled for the feed.

03

On the plate

This is Select the way a customer meets it. Nothing is dressed beyond what is actually there, because the picture has to match the thing in front of them.

Shot wide, with room left in the frame for type.
Select food covered close, in the same light as the rest of the set.

04

In the feed

These frames were built for the feed. They are cropped to sit in a grid, shot with room at the edges, and they still read once a caption lands on top of them.

The same set, framed for a square post.
Select food, covered wide and close in the same block.

05

Close up

Close frames give the set its texture. We shoot them at the end of a block, once the light has settled, so the detail matches everything else from the day.

A quieter frame, used between product posts.
Select shot vertical, for stories and reels.
